As promised

Better late than never. Last Thursday I finally had my first post surgery follow up. I learned that the x rays didn't show all the damage, so when they opened me up there was a bit of a surprise. The knuckle area at the base of my had was broken into a few pieces on the 3rd and 4th metacarpals. That is why the doc had use the larger plates w/ the 2 place bases. I am now the permanent home to 12 screws and 2 plates. The 2 fish hooks you see in finger 1 come out in 2 more weeks.
